How we approach every engagement.
Every Inti Konsult engagement begins with a short preliminary conversation — typically no more than thirty minutes — in which we seek to understand the particular matter or set of matters the principal has in mind. This conversation carries no obligation and helps both parties determine whether an engagement is likely to be useful.
Once an engagement is agreed, we prepare a brief engagement note setting out the scope, deliverables, fee, and timeline. Work begins only after this note is confirmed by the principal.
Throughout the engagement, we are in contact with the principal or their designated colleague as agreed in the scope. We do not generate large volumes of intermediate correspondence or intermediate documents. We work towards the agreed deliverable.
Initial conversation
A brief call or meeting to understand the principal's situation and determine the most appropriate engagement format. No obligation attached.
Engagement note confirmed
We prepare a brief written note setting out scope, deliverables, fee, and timeline. Work begins only after the principal confirms.
Advisory work conducted
Conversations, observations, and research as appropriate to the engagement format. All conducted by the senior advisor named in the engagement note.
Written deliverable produced
A written document prepared by the lead advisor, returned to the principal within the agreed timeline. The document belongs entirely to the principal.
Engagement closes
The engagement completes on the terms agreed. We are available for a brief closing conversation if the principal wishes. No renewal is proposed unless the principal raises the question.
ENGAGEMENT ONE · FOUR WEEKS · RM 690
Senior Strategic Conversation
A four-week engagement for chief executives and managing directors who would value a structured outside conversation about the questions presently on their desk. We sit with the principal and one chosen colleague, prepare a short brief drawn from those conversations, and return a written reading of two or three matters worth considering further.
The engagement is intentionally light-touch and held in strict confidence; the deliverable is a brief document the principal can refer to privately. Suitable for principals leading firms with consolidated revenues above RM 50 million.
The Senior Strategic Conversation is not an audit, a diagnostic, or a strategy process. It is a conversation — structured, prepared, and followed by a written reading. Its value lies in the quality of attention brought to it, not in the number of hours billed.

Board Effectiveness Review
A considered engagement for boards of established Malaysian firms whose chairs would value a thoughtful outside reading of how the board is presently functioning. Over twelve weeks we attend two board meetings as observers, hold confidential conversations with each director and the company secretary, and return a written reading of how decisions are being made and where the conversation might be reshaped.
The intent is to support the chair and the board, not to grade them. The deliverable is a private document for the chair, with a redacted summary for the board if the chair so wishes.
We approach board effectiveness reviews with care. The purpose is not to produce a scorecard but to offer a considered reading — the kind of observation that takes time to form and requires the reviewer to have sat in the room and listened carefully.

Multi-Year Strategy Cycle Advisory
A senior engagement for established groups whose chairs and chief executives would value a thoughtful counterpart through a full strategy cycle. Over six months we sit alongside the leadership team as it prepares, debates and adopts a refreshed strategic direction.
The engagement includes monthly conversations with the principal advisor, attendance at two strategy sessions, two written readings during the engagement, and a closing presentation to the board. Discreet and held in strict confidence.
The Multi-Year Strategy Cycle Advisory is not a strategy facilitation or a strategy consulting engagement in the conventional sense. We do not run workshops, fill whiteboards, or produce lengthy reports. We serve as a thoughtful counterpart — reading the materials, attending the key conversations, and returning a clear written view at two points in the cycle and at its close.
